How to clean the wheels

WHEEL MATERIALS

• Chrome-plated and zinc-coated steel housing with double ball-bearing swivel head and riveted wheel axle.

• Wheel fitted with PUR or TPE tread, anti-thread hub in Polypropylene or Polyamide 6, and plain bearing.

HOW TO CLEAN THE WHEELS

Use a pressure washer or garden hose, but do not spray directly onto the wheel. Direct water exposure may damage the bearing and/or wash out the grease from the swivel head and bearing.

Avoid noise in your wheels

Heat and heavy loads may deform the axle bore, enlarging it and allowing dirt particles to enter, which can generate noise. Therefore:
Do not overload the basket
Do not roll the basket for many hours consecutively without stopping.
Do not use in places with temperatures between -10°C and 45°C.

Lubricate your wheels

Lubricate the wheels every 6 months.
HOW TO DO IT:
Turn the basket upside down. Push the wheel toward one end of the rivet to expose as much of the rivet as possible on the opposite side.
Apply a small amount of lubricant to the rivet. You should see a ring of foam form around the rivet, which quickly dissolves and flows down along the rivet toward the wheel.
Push the wheel against the lubricated part of the rivet and rotate it back and forth several times.
