ReBasket has significantly improved logistics in France, especially at Leclerc, a leading supermarket chain. They have integrated this innovative basket into their Click and Collect system, where customers place orders online and retrieve their purchases using their vehicles.

Leclerc faced the challenge of managing a large volume of online orders every week, 3,800, and incurring substantial costs in disposable paper bags. They were interested in finding a more sustainable solution.

In collaboration with Shopping Basket, they developed the 18-liter ReBasket, specifically designed to collect online orders from their e-commerce efficiently.

Customers receive their orders in ReBasket baskets and leave a deposit, which is refunded upon returning them on their next store visit. This is known as a consignment service.

After two years, Leclerc found that most customers returned the baskets. The basket cost return rate is very high, between 90 and 95%, resulting in significant savings compared to the use of paper bags. Designed to withstand 10,000 uses, ReBasket promises long-term savings, with amortization achieved in just two months of use. ReBasket proves to be durable and cost-effective over time.

With over 650 stores using the Click and Collect system, Leclerc has recognized ReBasket as a sustainable and effective solution that optimizes the customer shopping experience and promotes loyalty.
