Everything counts, from the advertising carried out by the brand to the customer service, including the payment methods available to finish the transaction. The sum of all these experiences defines the customer experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But do we understand well the difference with the \u201cuser experience\u201d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cuser experience\u201d (UX) is based on the interaction between the user and the product. Both are vital when it comes to recognizing the reputation of the brand and the user\u2019s loyalty to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How important is the \u201ccustomer experience\u201d?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Today the competition between brands is voracious and is just a few clicks away. One of the ways that brands have to retain their customers is with the \u201ccustomer experience\u201d. For this, many companies are investing money and effort in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>360 \u00b0 Customer experience<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the ways to bring notoriety to your customers is to personalize experiences. In addition, the fact of taking care of all contact points with the user will reinforce the impression that customers have of the brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Increase customer retention<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Acquiring new clients is more expensive than maintaining those that you already have. If a customer is satisfied with a brand, the sale price will not be the differentiating factor from the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Your customers are your ambassadors<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Happy customers will let all their friends know. In&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/pamdanziger\/2018\/01\/10\/amazons-customer-loyalty-is-astounding\/#40d953a311fe\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">this Forbes article<\/a>, we see how their loyalty is amazing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They visit the Amazon platform at least once a week, and a third of them are ready to buy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, a Prime customer spends around $1400 a year while one that is not spent around $600 as we see in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.es\/amazon-prime-customers-spend-more-than-others-2018-10?r=US&amp;IR=T\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">this other article.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Design your own \u201ccustomer experience\u201d strategy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The clear vision of the \u201ccustomer experience\u201d<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>First, we must design the vision that we want to provide as a brand. Once defined, this vision must be communicated in all channels cohesively. All employees and communication have to be based on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Define the customer personas<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The next step is to determine who our potential customers to know them better. In this way, we can adapt the vision of the previous point and apply it concretely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Understand who your customers are<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The next step in developing these principles of customer experience is to bring the different types of customers who deal with their customer service teams to life. If your organization is going to understand the needs and wishes of the clients, then they should be able to connect and identify with the situations their clients face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Connect emotionally with your customers.<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>A Harvard study suggests that a customer emotionally linked to a brand will recommend three times that product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An example is an American company, Zappos. A client wanted to return by mail some shoes that he had bought. However, his mother passed away, and could not do it in time. He told Zappos and they organized a postal service that picked them up at home without any cost. In addition, the next day, this client received a bouquet at his home from Zappos. For this, we can automate user satisfaction surveys after the interaction. You can also make calls or any other way to contact customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Feedback on your equipment<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Many companies conduct annual surveys on the quality of the service offered. However, it would be better to carry out this type of investigation periodically to be able to correct what is necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Measure ROI<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>They must be measured to determine if the actions and strategies undertaken to improve the customer experience are profitable.
